9th Edition of the Platinum Buyer-Seller Meet (BSM) kickstarts at Grand Hyatt, Bolgatty, Kochi

9th Edition of the Platinum Buyer-Seller Meet (BSM) kickstarts at Grand Hyatt, Bolgatty, Kochi. More than 10 leading manufacturers and over 75 topline retailers visiting the show.

Widely regarded as one of the most exclusive and eagerly anticipated events on the jewellery industry’s annual calendar, the Platinum BSM brings together leading retailers, manufacturers, and industry stakeholders for meaningful business interactions, networking, SOL awards and insights!

Speaking exclusively to Sumesh Wadhera, Chief Editor, AOJ MEDIA at the BSM, leading platinum jewellery manufacturers shared their insights and vision for Platinum.

Vaishali Banerjee, Head of Global Market Development & Managing Director (India & Middle East), Platinum Guild International said, "We are very exited with the BSM this year, and I heartily wish the very best to all our partners and manufacturers. We have more than more than 75 retail partners visiting this BSM and we are happy with that. We all have seen that this year came with its own challenges, but we solve the challenges differently and this BSM is all about that, Building, Rising and Creating new things."

We have expanded Men of Platinum into a younger age group as well because we have seen a lot of affinity from young men for platinum jewellery. As well as mid thirties, we have expanded into that Platinum Love Bands. We have looked at how to make this more closure to the consumer while we say we target the young audience which we do and we all know the young audience keeps evolving and changing with their preference of design. So we are not making any assumptions, we have been asking young women what kind of designs they like. What kind of product they would like to wear or exchange and we will bring the collections with our manufacturers on the back of consumers validation."

Pallavi Sharma Deputy Country Manager, India & ME, Platinum Guild International (PGI) shares her thought on 9th edition of PLATINUM Buyer Seller Meet 2026. She says, "This is the 9th Edition of BSM 2026 and we are so excited about the new opportunities platinum is bringing together every retail partner.
