IGM LAUNCHES ‘GOLDSENSE’ DIGITAL KARATOMETER

A revolutionary handheld gold purity-testing device, GoldSense, was launched by IGM today at the India Gold Conference in Goa.

Designed for fast, accurate and non-destructive testing, GoldSense can identify counterfeit and gold-plated jewellery without melting, scratching or altering the metal.

Key features include:

* Deep-Probing Technology: Unlike conventional XRF machines, which generally analyse only the surface layer up to 10–12 microns, GoldSense uses conduction-based technology to test gold purity up to 7 mm deep—or 14 mm when examined from both sides.
* AI-Certified Reporting: The device automatically determines gold purity and karatage, instantly generating a digital purity report that can be shared via email or WhatsApp.

Bookings for the GoldSense Digital Karatometer opened today, with deliveries scheduled to begin from Ganesh Chaturthi, 14 September 2026.
