The initiative aims to promote Jaipur’s silver industry and develop better facilities for the trade. The JSA Silver Show, organised by the Jaipur Silver Association, will be inaugurated at Birla Auditorium from 22 to 24 November.

Jaipur Silver Association chairman Ujjwal Derewala and secretary Rahul Gangwal met Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla in Kota and invited him to the inauguration ceremony. Birla will attend the event as the chief guest.

During the meeting, they discussed the upcoming JSA Silver Show and the proposal to develop a dedicated zone for the silver industry in Jaipur. Birla said there was a need to create a separate zone for the silver industry in the city.

The JSA Silver Show will bring manufacturers and wholesalers from India and abroad together on a single platform.

Birla also praised the Jaipur Silver Association’s initiative to bring leading jewellery manufacturers and wholesalers from across the country together under one platform.

The chairman and secretary said Rajasthan, particularly Jaipur, has a global reputation in the silver trade. People from across the country visit Jaipur to buy silver jewellery, making it important to further promote the city’s silver industry.

Need for a dedicated zone for Jaipur’s silver industry

Om Birla said dedicated silver zones should be developed in Jaipur to promote the city’s silver industry. This would provide better facilities at one place for manufacturers, wholesalers and artisans involved in the silver trade.

It would also give Jaipur’s silver industry an opportunity to strengthen its identity in India and global markets.

Manufacturers and wholesalers from India and abroad to participate

Jaipur Silver Association chairman Ujjwal Derewala said leading jewellery manufacturers and wholesalers from India and abroad will participate in the JSA Silver Show.

The exhibition will showcase new jewellery collections, latest designs and traditional silver craftsmanship, giving traders an opportunity to explore new designs and changing trends in silver jewellery.

Preparing to give silver jewellery trade a global platform

Derewala said the JSA Silver Show aims to give the silver jewellery trade a global platform. Bringing manufacturers and wholesalers from across the country together will boost business networking and create new commercial opportunities.

More than 200 exhibitors, over 10,000 visitors expected

Association secretary Rahul Gangwal said more than 200 exhibitors will participate in the JSA Silver Show, being held from 22 to 24 November.

More than 10,000 visitors are expected to attend. The three-day expo will showcase new silver jewellery collections, designs and other industry-related products.

Office-bearers of Kota’s jewellery organisations also present

During the meeting with Om Birla, Anand Rathi of the Kota Sarafa Association and office-bearers of various other jewellers’ associations were also present.

Discussions were held on promoting Rajasthan’s silver industry and developing Jaipur as a major hub for the silver trade.
